Scholarship dinner for children with cancer

The Prodigal Foundation Inc. will hold its ninth annual scholarship dinner for children affected by cancer on June 4, starting at 7 p.m. at Ariana's Grand, 800 Rahway Ave., Woodbridge.

The event will honor John Eberhardt, Woodbridge director of Parks & Recreation, Charlie Shaughnessy, director of the American Irish Association, and Bob Durso, of J.J. Elek Realty.

Dinner is a $65 donation, which includes cocktail hour, dinner buffet with beer and wine throughout the evening, and dessert. Cocktails will be at 7 p.m. followed by the dinner and ceremony at 8 p.m.
