Board must make changes, live within its budget
Ipray that the Edison Borad of Education has gotten the message: fiscal responsibility. As I and many others have learned to live within our budget, you Board of Education members must learn the same lesson. I, along with many others, have changed our deductibles in our home and car insurance, have lowered our home thermostats to 68 degrees, and wash all our clothes in cold water to live within our budgets. What has the Board of Education done? Are we still paying for the cleaning of the band's uniforms? Are we still paying for strep throat testing? These are responsibilities that should be assumed by the student and/or the family — not the entire population of Edison.
I appeal to every resident in Edison to send a loud message to the Edison Board of Education and the administration. We want fiscal responsibility, and thus far you have not shown any concern for the citizens. Vote them out and get involved in making Edison the wonderful township it could be.
