Berkeley College to host open house

Berkeley College, Middlesex campus, 430 Rahway Ave., Woodbridge, will host an open house from noon to 7 p.m. Jan. 21. The event will offer immediate information regarding acceptance for the upcoming season. Students must bring their high school transcript and take an entrance exam. Students who have completed an associate degree will be exempt from that exam. Guests will have the opportunity to meet and greet staff and faculty, and learn about online degree programs as well as financial aid and scholarship opportunities. Transfer students will learn about transfer opportunities.

On Jan. 24, the college will host "FAFSA (Free Application for Student Aid) Online Workshop" 10-11 a.m. The hands-on workshop is for parents/guardians of high school seniors interested in applying for financial aid. How to apply for a PIN number and a full explanation of the financial aid process will be discussed. Berkeley College institutional aid in the form of scholarships and grants will be presented. Students are encouraged to join their parents/guardians. Parents can request a financial aid administrator. For more information, call 1-800-446-5400, ext. 225.
