In the article "Marathon training a challenge to body and mind" in the July 30 issue of the Woodbridge Sentinel, it was misstated that the drug Gleevec was used as a treatment for patients with chronic lymphocytic leukemia. Gleevec is used to treat patients with chronic myelogenous (or myeloid) leukemia, which is a rare life-threatening form of cancer.
