Summer concerts to feature Johnny Maestro

The 2008 Mayor's Summer Concert Series, Woodbridge, will take place Monday evenings through Aug. 25 in the meadow behind Woodbridge High School.

The concert lineup includes:
• July 28 - Johnny Maestro & The
Brooklyn Bridge
• Aug. 4 - Beginnings: Chicago Tribute
• Aug. 11 - Kenny Vance & The Planotones

• Aug. 18 - Rocksplosion
• Aug. 25 - The Infernos

The Mayor's Summer Concert Series is free; concertgoers are encouraged to bring canned goods and nonperishable food items for donation to township food banks. Concertgoers bringing nonperishable food items receive chances to win special prizes; those who bring more than one food item to the concert each Monday will receive more chances to win a prize. More than 12,000 pounds of food were collected during the first three concerts.
