Reception to benefit cancer research May 9

Susan G. Komen for the Cure Central and South Jersey will host the sixth annual Spirit of Jane Rodney Reception at Drumthwacket, 354 Stockton St., Princeton, at 7 p.m. May 9.

Steve Kalafer, chairman of Flemington Car and Truck Country and the Somerset Patriots, will receive the Individual Achievement Award. Shabnam Kazmi of sanofi-aventis will be honored with the Corporate Excellence Award.
