Civil War program slated at library March 24

The Historical Association of Woodbridge Township will present the program "Songs of the Civil War: History and Myth" at 7:30 p.m. March 24 in the main meeting room of the Woodbridge Public Library. The public is invited and admission is free.

Singer Lisa Wilkins and guitarist Chuck Winch offer both authentic Civil War-era songs and original compositions, use period instruments, and dress in period clothing.

The program is offered through the Horizons Speakers Bureau of the New Jersey Council for the Humanities, a state partner of the National Endowment for the Humanities.
