Call goes out to artists for juried show and sale

Artists are sought for the first Jamesburg Art Exhibition and Sale, sponsored by the Jamesburg Public Library/Cultural Center, in conjunction with The Artisan Framer, Jamesburg. The juried show will be held fromMarch 2-30 at the Jamesburg Public Library, Gatzmer Avenue.

Each original work, which should be ready to hang and no larger than 28 by 32 inches, must have the artist's name and address and work title and price on an index card on the back. Artists may use watercolors, pastels, charcoal, oils, pencil or acrylics. Participants must be at least 18 years old.

Entry fee is $5 per item and must be submitted by Feb. 20. Works may be picked up at the library on March 31. Applications may be found at the following Jamesburg locations: the Jamesburg Public Library; the Artisan Framer, 14 W. Railroad Ave.; and Lisco's Country Café, 48 E. Railroad Ave.
