Mayor should be commended for work on animal shelter
On Dec. 21, 2007, history was made in Woodbridge Township with the opening of the first public animal shelter. Mayor John McCormac kept his promise of opening the animal shelter before the start of winter and his commitment and concern for homeless animals went above and beyond any expectations I could have ever dreamed of. The animal shelter is a beautiful, clean, safe, state-of-the-art building to house homeless animals until they find their "furever" home. Mayor McCormac should be commended not only for the animal shelter but for all he has done for the betterment of Woodbridge in his short reign as our mayor. I, for one, am proud to say I am a Woodbridge resident.
