A never-ending lordliness
I find it absolutely amazing that this latest gubernatorial threat over the raising more revenues for the already Highest Taxed State in The United States of America has been cutely reported as: "Corzine Threatens Mayors."

Get real, all you supposed journalists. Only "We the People" here can be so threatened by greedy politics and politicians.

Besides, most residents of New Jersey aren't stupid. They know full well that most all mayors are actually affluent and fall into the category of those who can quite easily afford and pay New Jersey's infamously ridiculous (embarrassing also) and ever-increasingly high property taxes. Whereas most others of the middle-class private sector must truly struggle to pay such high property taxes and many other absurd taxes.

So then and realistically, the only ones actually being threatened here by His Lordship Corzine are the overwhelmingly vast majority and/or all homeowners and renters in general… As usual.

Better soon wake up and display some warranted outrage for a change. Daily bowing or kowtowing to obvious lordly or political dictates is not what America and/or "Land of the Free and Home of the Brave" is all about.

Governments should work for your well-being and not just the opposite, as is so typical here in: "If it moves or not, tax it" and/or not-very-resident-friendly New Jersey. It's no wonder why so many that can, move to other states for retirement.
