Josephine Carrion Mrs. Carrion, 72, of Manalapan, died Jan. 14, 2008, at Pine Brook Care Center, Manalapan. She was born in Brooklyn, N.Y., and had lived in South Amboy before moving to Manalapan five years ago. Prior to retiring, Mrs. Carrion was a waitress for various restaurants in Middlesex County. Surviving are her husband of 23 years, Thomas Carrion; a son, William Kane of Brooklyn; three daughters, Joanne Kane of Florida, Kathy Kane of South Carolina and Stella Schofield of Yonkers, N.Y.; a brother, Robert Rodriguez of Brooklyn; a sister, Leigh Kyles of West New York; a stepson, Thomas Carrion Jr. of Woodbridge; and 11 grandchildren. A cryptside chapel service was held at Woodbridge Memorial Mausoleum. Freeman Manalapan-Marlboro Funeral Home, Manalapan, was in charge of arrangements.
