Bariatric weight-loss support group to meet Raritan Bay Medical Center will sponsor a Bariatric Weight-Loss Support Group meeting from 6:30 to 8 p.m. on Jan. 17 in Centennial Hall at the hospital's PerthAmboy division, 530 New Brunswick Ave. The meeting is designed for individuals who have had weight-loss surgery, are contemplating weight-loss surgery or are simply trying to maintain a healthy weight. Facilitator Lauretta Thompson, R.N., M.S.N., will lead a discussion on the concerns and successes surrounding the surgery. Family and friends are welcome. For more information, call (732) 324-5300.
