'Mideast Update' to be topic at meeting

Martin Raffel, senior associate executive director, Jewish Council for Public Affairs (JCPA), will be the guest speaker at an East Brunswick Hadassah program set for 7:45 p.m. on Jan. 10 at the East Brunswick Jewish Center, 511 Ryders Lane.

Raffel, who has served as senior associate director and director of the JCPA Task Force on Israel andOther InternationalConcerns for the past 20 years, will offer a presentation titled "MideastUpdate." Topicswill include Iran, the recent national intelligence estimate on Iran's nuclear capability and the recentAnnapolis conference.

The meeting is free and open to the public.
