County legal group to meet Jan. 16

The new chapter of the Middlesex Legal ProfessionalAssociation will hold its next meeting 5:30-7:30 p.m. Jan. 16, featuring Middlesex County Superior Court Ombudsman Sylvia L. O'Connor, LSW, at the Hampton Inn, 270, Route 9 north, Woodbridge.

O'Connor will discuss topics on the overview and improvement of the court system, judicial conduct and pro se litigants.

Dinner will be served at approximately 6 p.m.; the cost for the dinner is $27 per person. Reservations are due by Jan. 15 to Anna Kolb at (908) 494-1019 or e-mail her at azramone@optonline.net.

The Middlesex LPA is still accepting donations for the Woodbridge Township Domestic Violence Response Team.

New members in the law professional field who work in Middlesex County are welcome to attend.
