Police seek man who tried to pick up 15-year-old girl
BY KATHY CHANG Staff Writer

WOODBRIDGE - Police are looking for a suspect in an orange and white colored SUV that pulled up along side of a 15-yearold female at the corner of Charles and Lee streets in Hopelawn and asked her numerous times if she would like a ride as she was walking home.

The incident occurred at 3:59 p.m. on Dec. 13, police said.

The victim told police that she replied "no" and started walking away.

A truck pulled behind the suspects' vehicle so the suspect vehicle pulled up a few feet and moved over to the curb and asked the victim again if she wanted a ride, the police report said.

The victim replied "no" and began to walk away quickly, police said.

The witness in the truck that pulled behind the suspect's vehicle was acquaintances with the victim and told the suspect to 'get lost' and gave the victim a ride home, police said.
