Donations sought for stainless-steel train

Sculptor Glenn Murgacz is still accepting donations for his Woodbridge Public Art Project - a 4-foot-wide, 13-foot-long, 6-foot-7-inch-tall stainless-steel train, which weighs approximately a ton.

Murgacz plans to permanently place the train in front of JJ Bitting Brewing Co., 33 Main St., before Christmas.

Minimum donations are $50 per family or individual and $100 per business. The donation will fund a piece of steel in the sculpture, which will have an engraved plaque attached with the name of the donor with a maximum of 25 characters.

Donations may be made out to the LAFFS Corp. and sent to 78 Schoder Ave., Woodbridge NJ 07095.

For more information call (732) 634- 7060.
