Esther J. Twardos Kopsco

Mrs. Kopsco, 80, of Sayreville, died Nov. 28, 2007, at home. Born in Sayreville, she was a lifelong resident. She was a toll collector at the New Jersey Turnpike Authority for five years, retiring in 1991. Prior to that, she was a nurse's aide at Roosevelt Hospital, Edison. She was a communicant of St. Stanislaus Kostka Roman Catholic Church, Sayreville. She was predeceased by a son, Pvt. David Kopsco, U.S. Marine Corps, in 1968; four brothers, Henry, Steve, Edward and John Twardos; and a sister, Cecelia Krawczyk. Mrs. Kopsco is survived by a son, Daniel Kopsco of Sayreville; a daughter and son-in-law, Elaine and Peter Bigler of Edison; a brother, Walter Twardos of Sayreville; a sister, Jean Waxmundsky of Sayreville; and a granddaughter. A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated at St. Stanislaus Church. Arrangements were by Maliszewski Memorial Home, Sayreville.
