Holiday gifts sought for hospitalized children

Magyar Bank has selected Children's Specialized Hospital, New Brunswick, as the beneficiary of its 2007 holiday gift program.

Magyar, the hospital and Magic 98.3 have partnered to make this holiday season extra special for patients moving into the new PSE&G Children's Specialized Hospital in December. The three establishments are asking the community to donate a new unwrapped toy to the patients at the hospital by bringing an unwrapped gift to any Magyar Bank location or to the Magic 98.3 studios, 78 Veronica Ave., in the Somerset section of Franklin Township.

Children's Specialized Hospital is the largest pediatric rehabilitation hospital in the country, and last year served more than 16,000 children with special needs. Magic 98.3 is owned and operated by Greater Media Inc., Braintree, Mass.

Magyar's local branches are: corporate headquarters, 400 Somerset St., New Brunswick; 582 Milltown Road, North Brunswick; and 3050 Route 27, Kendall Park section of South Brunswick.

Children's Specialized Hospital Foundation will also accept monetary donations online. For more information, including a complete list of items on the children's wish list, visit the Magyar Web site at www.magbank.com or the Children's Specialized Hospital Web site at www.childrens-specialized.org.
