Senior club announces November schedule

The Woodbridge Senior Citizen Club will hold its business meetings at 1 p.m. Nov. 1 and 15 in McCorristin Hall, which is in the basement of St. James Roman Catholic Church, Main Street and Amboy Avenue.

The Nov. 1 meeting will feature a presentation by the Middlesex County Prosecutor's Office, blood pressure will be taken, and dues will be collected. The Nov. 15 meeting will have a presentation by Donna Brightman, president of the Woodbridge Housing Authority.

People who are interested in joining the club must be 60 years old and belong to no other senior citizen club.

The club will hold its social meetings Nov. 8 and 29, which will feature bingo.

The club will host a trip to the Showboat Casino in Atlantic City on Nov. 13. The group will leave at 9:30 a.m. from the St. James parking lot.
