Cancer institute sponsors art program for patients The Cancer Institute of New Jersey is sponsoring a new art program for cancer patients in an effort to provide them with a therapeutic outlet. The six-week program features a choice of day sessions or night sessions, and will have patients working with different art materials, such as clay and oil paints. The program is free and is open to those with any cancer diagnosis in any stage of treatment or recovery. It is held every Monday through November 19, with 3:00 - 5:00 pm and 6:30 to 8:30 pm programs. To register call The Cancer Institute of New Jersey Social Work Department at 732-235-6792.
