Farmers treated badly in the Garden State

For more than two centuries, the American farmer (not the Agro companies) has been the backbone of the American economy, providing food and resources which helped to make our nation great. They provided the manpower that made our nation free and sustained it through two centuries of wars and conflicts. They have provided the basis of our democracy from the small town halls of New England to farms of the Great Plains and fields of California. They shaped our culture and our laws.

Why are the political hacks in the state of New Jersey trying their best to destroy what little the small farmer has left to make a living and enjoy his leisure time? First, they say he cannot sell his farm-prepared products without having government inspections, and then they tell him he cannot have Saturday night country music without following township regulations.

I would much rather enjoy an American farmer's un-inspected pie than the un-inspected imported Chinese fish or ride on defective Chinese tires. I also would enjoy listening to country music on Saturday night rather than a pirated Chinese rap CD. Let the political hacks do the job we pay them for and protect us from hazardous products flooding our shores from China and the Far East. Eat American food and products for a healthier life!
