Obituaries Marie K. Findeis Borello Mrs. Borello, 48, of the Belford section of Middletown, died June 3, 2007, at Meridian Nursing and Rehabilitation, Red Bank. Born in Elizabeth, she resided in Middletown most of her life. Mrs. Borello was a homemaker. She was a parishioner at St. Ann's Roman Catholic Church, Keansburg, where she was active in parish and school activities. She was predeceased by her father, Frank Findeis. She is survived by her husband, George Borello; a daughter, Ashley Borello of Belford; her mother, Patricia Findeis; three sisters, Cindy Stover of Florida, Patty Parfet of Woodbridge, and Tracy Kingman of North Branch; and three brothers, Randy Findeis of Connecticut, and Brian Findeis and Frank Findeis, both of Pennsylvania. Arrangements were under the direction of John F. Pfleger Funeral Home, Middletown. A funeral liturgy was celebrated. at St. Ann's Church. Burial was at Fair View Cemetery, Middletown.
Stephen M. Houtman Mr. Houtman, 55, of Atlantic Highlands, died May 23, 2007, at home. Born in Brooklyn, N.Y., he had lived in Englishtown and Avenel before moving to Atlantic Highlands 30 years ago. He was a member of the first graduating class of Marlboro High School, in 1970. Mr. Houtman worked for Shell Oil Co./Motiva Enterprises, Sewaren, for 34 years. He was predeceased by his mother, Pauline Daltillo Houtman; and a niece, Samantha Crane. He is survived by his wife of 33 years, Jo Ann Rupy Houtman; two daughters and a son-in-law, Kelly Ann Houtman of Atlantic Highlands, and Tracy Lynn and Michael Kelly of Chambersburg, Pa.; three grandchildren; his father, Richard, and his wife Charlotte, who also was Stephen's mother-in-law, of North Fort Myers, Fla.; two brothers and sisters-in-law, David and Janice Houtman of Milltown, and Michael and Linda Houtman of Cranbury; a sister and brother-in-law, Barbara and Geoff Crane of Florida; his father-in-law, Jack Rupy, and his wife Lois of South Carolina; a brother-in-law, Steven Rupy and his wife Marti of Hummelstown, Pa.; four nephews; and a great-niece. The John F. Pfleger Funeral Home, Middletown, was in charge of arrangements.
