Nine cars damaged or stolen over two-day period WOODBRIDGE - - Numerous vehicles were either stolen or broken into in the parking lot of the Sheraton Hotel on Route 1 south in Iselin over a two-day period, according to police. The nine incidents occurred between 8:30 a.m. on March 18 and 8 a.m. on March 20, police said. Someone punched the lock to the driver's door of a black 2006 Infiniti SUV between 8:30 a.m. and 12:35 p.m. on March 18. The victim told police that nothing was missing from the vehicle. Someone pried open the driver's-side door handle of a gray 2000 four-door Lexus ES 300 between 8:30 p.m. on March 18 and 10:35 a.m. on March 19. The victim told police nothing was missing from the vehicle. Someone slipped the lock of the driver's-side door of a white 2003 four-door Lexus 45 and stole cash and a music CD between 10 a.m. and 1 p.m. on March 18. Someone punched the driver's-side door lock of a white 2006 Lincoln LT pickup truck and stole the vehicle's manual between 3 p.m. on March 18 and 8 a.m. on March 20. Someone pried the handle on the left driver's-side door of a tan 2007 four-door Nissan BLT between 10 p.m. on March 18 and noon on March 19. The victim told police that nothing was taken from the vehicle. Someone punched the lock of the driver's-side door of a gray 2007 four-door Cadillac Escalade in Iselin and stole a DVD player valued at $500, a Cannon digital camera valued at $600, a cell phone, and approximately 100 business checks between 1 a.m. and 3:30 p.m. on March 19. Someone punched the driver's-side door lock of a maroon 2002 four-door Lexus 430 between 8 a.m. on March 19 and 8 a.m. on March 20. The glove box was ransacked. Someone attempted to open the driver's-side window of a black 2007 four-door Infiniti G35 between 1:15 p.m. and 6:30 p.m. on March 19. Someone stole a silver 2005 four-door Infiniti FX3 between 8:15 p.m. and 8:59 p.m. on March 19. Four other similar car thefts to Infiniti vehicles occurred around the same time frame but in different locations. Someone punched a hole above the lock on the driver's-side door of a black 2007 two-door Nissan Infiniti G35 that was parked in the parking lot of the Hess Corp. near Mutton Hollow Road between 8:30 a.m. and 4:15 p.m. on March 19. The only thing that appeared to be missing was the owner's manual to the vehicle, which contained a valet key. Someone pried open the driver's-side door lock of a brown 2006 four-door Infiniti LT that was parked in the parking lot on Plaza Drive between 6:30 p.m. on March 19 and 7:15 a.m. on March 20. The victim told police nothing was taken from the vehicle. Someone stole a silver 2006 four-door Infiniti FX35 that was parked in the parking lot of the Hilton Hotel on Wood Avenue in Iselin between 7 p.m. on March 19 and 8 a.m. on March 20. Someone stole a beige 2006 four-door Infiniti G35, which contained an EZ-Pass, gym stuff, and music CDs and tapes valued at $100 that was parked in a parking lot on South Wood Avenue in Iselin between 9 a.m. and 5:45 p.m. on March 21.
