Obituaries

Shirley Krentzman

Mrs. Krentzman, 79, of Freehold, died Feb. 15, 2007, at Jersey Shore University Medical Center, Neptune. Born in Brooklyn, N.Y., she had lived in Woodbridge before moving to Howell in 1987. Mrs. Krentzman was a colorist in the garment industry and had worked in a fabric store in New Brunswick. She is survived by her husband of 60 years, Clifford Krentzman of Freehold; two sons, Stewart Krentzman of River Vale and Eric Krentzman of Freehold; a sister, Betty Grossman of Queens, N.Y.; and five grandchildren. A graveside service was held at Brig. Gen. William C. Doyle New Jersey Veterans Cemetery, Arnytown. Memorial contributions may be made to the CPC/PACT Program, 10 Industrial Way East, Eatontown 07724.

Anna Krempecki Basara

Mrs. Basara, 92, of South River, died Feb. 16, 2007, at home. She worked as a seamstress for more than 40 years with several dress factories in South River. A granddaughter, Beverly, died in 2006. Surviving are her husband, John; two sons, Fred, and his wife, Irma of Cresco, Pa., and John, and his wife, Barbara, of Florida; two brothers, Stanley Krempecki of Pennsylvania and Edward Babecki of Woodbridge; and three grandchildren. A Mass was offered at St. Mary of Ostrabrama Church, South River. Interment was in St. Mary's Cemetery, East Brunswick.

Lenore Ippolito

Mrs. Ippolito, 76, of Marlboro Township, died Feb. 6, 2007, at Saint Peter's University Hospital, New Brunswick. Born in Brooklyn, N.Y., she resided there prior to relocating to Marlboro 10 years ago. She was a homemaker. She was a communicant of St. Thomas More Roman Catholic Church, Manalapan. She was predeceased by her husband, Joseph in 2004. She is survived by three daughters and sons-in-law, Charlotte and Joseph Malvasio of Spotswood, Frances and Richard Romeo of Middletown, and Lenore and Michael Brancale of Manalapan; three brothers, James Galvano of the Avenel section of Woodbrige, Peter Galvano of Staten Island, N.Y., and Louis Galvano of Brooklyn; a sister, Mary Rizzuti of Long Island, N.Y.; and six grandchildren. A funeral liturgy was held at St. Thomas More Church. Entombment was at St. Gabriel's Mausoleum, Marlboro. Arrangements were by Freeman Manalapan-Marlboro Funeral Home, Manalapan.
