Free financial workshop to be held at MCC

A one-evening workshop on Financial Preparedness will be held at the Middlesex County College, New Brunswick Center, on Wednesday, Jan. 24 at 6 p.m. It is free and open to the public.

The New Brunswick Center is located at 140 New St., which is at the intersection of New Street and Joyce Kilmer Avenue.

The program, "Understanding the Free Tools and Resources for your Financial Preparedness," is the first in a series of six programs on finances designed to assist people in making sound financial decisions.

The workshop leader is Donta' Bell, coordinator of the New Jersey Financial Literacy Awareness Network, which is organizing the series.

Marla Brinson, director of the New Brunswick Center, urge people to attend.
