Ralph Edward Carlsen

Mr. Carlsen, 64, of the Port Monmouth section of Middletown died Nov. 10, 2006. He was a technical staff member at Bell Laboratories. He was a member of King of Kings Lutheran Church, Middletown. He was a lifetime member of Port Monmouth Fire Company. He was also a former Cubmaster of Scout Pack 88. He enjoyed fishing, boat building, and boating. He is survived by his wife, Pamela Carlsen; his mother, Ella Carlsen of Middletown; a brother, Richard of Somerset; three sons and daughters-in-law, Dan of Fort Worth, Texas; Ken of Stevensville, Md.; and Tim of Edison; a brother-in-law, Peter Haugk; and six grandchildren. Arrangements were by John F. Pfleger Funeral Home, Middletown. Memorial donations may be made to King of Kings Lutheran Church, 250 Harmony Road, Middletown 07748.

Margaret Curti Ricciardi

Mrs. Ricciardi, formerly of Edison, died Nov. 11, 2006, at St. John Hospital and Medical Center, Detroit. Born in Mount Union, Pa., she had lived in Edison for many years. Mrs. Ricciardi was the proprietor of the Plaza on Route 27 in Edison. She was a communicant of St. Theresa Roman Catholic Church, Edison, and a member and past president of the parish's Rosary Society. She was a member and past president of the Ladies Auxiliary Lindeneau Italian-American Club, Edison, and a member of the Edison Senior Citizens. Mrs. Ricciardi was predeceased by her husband, Vincent J. Ricciardi, in 1993; a daughter, Barbara Boyce; a brother, John Curti; and two sisters, Edith Altobelli and Madeline Schellie. Surviving are three daughters, Joan Bocchier, Connie Aurelio of Edison, and Margaret Boyle of Toms River; 11 grandchildren; and 17 great-grandchildren. A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated at St. Theresa's Church, followed by entombment at Woodbridge Memorial Gardens, Woodbridge. The Rezem Funeral Home, East Brunswick, was in charge of arrangements.
