Roanoke St. apartment burglarized
WOODBRIDGE - Police are investigating a burglary to a Roanoke Street apartment last week.
The burglary occurred between 1:35 p.m. and 2 p.m. on Nov. 13, police said.
A witness told police that she saw two black males wearing hooded black jackets remove the air-conditioning unit in the rear of the victim's apartment, police said.
Then the witness saw the two suspects enter the apartment through the window and saw the men exit out of the front door. When police searched the apartment, it appeared to be in somewhat of a state of disarray, the police report said.
Police also said that it was difficult to determine to what extent the apartment may have been ransacked or if the apartment was in some part unkempt because the victim's television, DVD player and computer were all intact.
Police believed the victim was away from her apartment since Friday because the victim's mailbox was full.
The victim's superintendent took the air-conditioning unit and secured the window and front door, the police report said.
