METUCHEN - Police are looking for three black males who attempted to steal 42 DVDs from the Blockbuster on Lake Avenue last week.

The incident occurred between 2 and 2:40 p.m. on Nov. 8, police said.

Blockbuster employees told police that the three suspects had a large birthday bag that was doubled with a cellophane bag, the police report said.

Suspect one was described as a 6 foot 2 inch heavy black male with short trim hair wearing a gray hooded sweatshirt, police said.

Suspect two was described as a 6 foot 2 inch thin black male with cornrows, police said.

Suspect three was described as a 6 foot black male with short trim hair wearing a green jacket, police said.

The three suspects put 42 DVDs valued at $840 in the bag and walked out, police said.

One of the store employees confronted the males and they dropped the bag and ran, police said.
