N.J. gets enough mockery from other states

I have seen some hypocritical political comments in my years, but the latest diatribe of Gov. Corzine and Sen. Lautenberg beats all. This dynamic duo saw fit to violate New Jersey election laws to replace the corrupt Sen. Torricelli on the ballot so that retired Sen. Lautenberg could run in his place. They used the New Jersey Supreme Court to accomplish this - after the date on which it could be done legally.

Now, the newly appointed, unethical Sen. Menendez, appointed by Gov. Corzine to replace himself in the U.S. Senate, is under investigation by the U.S. Justice Department for his illegal rental of an attached house he owned in Union City to an organization funded by the U.S. government. This is but one of the illegal, unethical, corrupt things for which Sen. Menendez must be held accountable.

Sen. Menendez has too many fleas to complain about anything or anybody. He and his benefactor have made a mockery of New Jersey politics.

Let's hope that the Democrats don't attempt to pull another last-minute illegal switch to God knows who. New Jersey citizens get enough mockery now from people they knew in other states - we should not be subjected to more.
