Seniors club lines up trip to Long Beach Island

The Holy Rosary Seniors holds meetings on the first and third Wednesday of each month in the auditorium of Holy Rosary Church, 625 Florida Grove Road, Perth Amboy. Trips to Atlantic City are planned the second Monday of every month. The bus departs at 9 a.m. from the church parking lot. For reservations, call Ida at (732) 442-0575. The club has lined up a day trip to the Surflight Theatre in Beach Haven (Long Beach Island) for its holiday spectacular. AARP sponsors monthly trips to Atlantic City

The AARP Chapter No. 3459/Colonia, Woodbridge, sponsors trips to Caesars Casino in Atlantic City on the second Monday of the month. The bus leaves the parking lot of St. John Vianney Elementary School, Inman Avenue, at 11:30 a.m. Cost is $20. For reservations, call Fran at (732) 388-0359.

Woodbridge WOWs slates Halloween dance Oct. 29

The Woodbridge Widows or Widowers (WOWs) will be holding a Halloween dance from 7:30-11:30 p.m. Oct. 29 at Woodbridge Elks Lodge No. 2116, 665 Rahway Ave., featuring refreshments and music by Jimmy Ray. Elks flea market held every Tuesday and Saturday

Woodbridge Elks Lodge 2116 holds a flea market at the Elks Hall, 665 Rahway Ave., from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. every Tuesday and Saturday (weather permitting), featuring more than 60 vendors. The hall is located across from Trinity Church.

Church to offer indoor Saturday flea market

First Congregational Church, 539 Barron Ave., Woodbridge, will feature an indoor flea market every Saturday until Dec. 2. Vendors are needed. For reservations or more information, call Susan at (732) 634-0582.

'Arabian Nights' to open Nov. 3 in Piscataway

Circle Players will present the comedy "The Arabian Nights" Nov. 3-19, with performances Fridays and Saturdays at 8 p.m. and Sundays at 3 p.m., at Circle Playhouse, 416 Victoria Ave., Piscataway.

The ensemble includes area residents Valerie deLeon of Edison and Amy Levine of the Monmouth Junction section of South Brunswick.

Space available at Hadassah Vendor Fair

East Brunswick Hadassah will hold a Vendor Fair, in conjunction with its annual Membership Gala Dinner, beginning at 5 p.m. on Oct. 29 at the East Brunswick Jewish Center, 511 Ryders Lane.

Dinner will be served at 6:30 p.m. Vendor sales will continue throughout the evening.

Vendor cost is $25 for the first table, $15 for additional tables. Raffle donations are also invited.

Separated, divorced group slates meetings

Passages, a nondenominational, self-help group for separated and divorced adults, holds meetings at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesdays at St. Peter's Episcopal Church, 505 Main St., Spotswood. The organization, which offers small weekly discussion groups and a calendar of social outings, is designed to provide emotional support to individuals going through the pain associated with separation and divorce and help them find the answers to get on with their lives.
