Middlesex Water Co. shares annual report

Middlesex Water Co., Iselin section of Woodbridge, recently mailed copies of its annual Consumer Confidence Report on water quality to its retail customers in Woodbridge, Carteret, Metuchen, South Amboy and parts of Edison and South Plainfield.

In order to stay informed about their drinking water, customers are encouraged to review the report, which is issued in compliance with the Safe Drinking Water Act. The company, which conducts thousands of tests each year on its water quality, reports that for 2005 the water it delivered to customers met or exceeded state and federal primary standards for safe drinking water.
