Obituaries Susan Randazzo Mrs. Randazzo, 47, of North Brunswick, died May 28 at Saint Peter's Medical Center, New Brunswick. Born in Jersey City, she resided in Edison, prior to moving to North Brunswick 11 years ago. She co-owned and operated with her husband John, Roberto's Pizza and Restaurant, Metuchen, since 1981. She was a communicant of St. Francis of Assisi Cathedral, Metuchen. She is survived by her husband, John; her mother, Ann Nardone-Montanti of Edison; her father and stepmother, John and Ann Montanti of Monroe; a sister, Joanne Watkins of Edison; a stepsister, Sharon Stankevich of Edison; a stepbrother, Michael Ratiner of South River; and a nephew. A funeral liturgy was held at St. Francis's Church. Interment was at St. Gertrude Cemetery, Colonia section of Woodbridge. Arrangements were by Costello-Runyon Funeral Home, Metuchen.
Dorothy Mary Blasucci Dorothy Mary Blasucci, 64, of Ocala, Fla., formerly of Tinton Falls, died June 2 in Munroe Regional Medical Center, Ocala. Prior to her retirement in 2002, she was a school nurse with the Monroe Township Board of Education. Surviving are her husband, Francis; three children, Roseann Woodring of Edison, Christine Anderson of Tinton Falls and Frank Blasucci of Chicago; her mother, Dorothy Modica; two brothers, Frank Modica and Ralph Modica; four sisters, Lenora Riso, Laura Allen, Alice Genzale and Rose Fishler; and four grandchildren, Dylan Anderson, Kyle Anderson, Devin Woodring and Taylor Blasucci.
Julia M. Milliron Mrs. Milliron, 88, of Old Bridge, formerly of Edison and South Plainfield, died May 24 in Raritan Bay Medical Center, Old Bridge division. Her husband, Dr. William G. Milliron, died in 1986, and a daughter, Mary Elizabeth, died in 1979. Surviving are two sons, William Jr. of Baden, Pa., and James Paul of Clarkesville, Tenn.; three daughters, Julie Groves of Old Bridge, Rebecca Jacobsen of St. Petersburg, Fla., and Kathy McGovern of South Plainfield; and eight grandchildren. A Mass was offered at St. Ambrose Church, Old Bridge. Interment was in Chestnut Hill Cemetery, East Brunswick.
Jay M. Hollander Mr. Hollander, 71, of Metuchen, died May 26 at Francis E. Parker Memorial Home, Piscataway. Born in Paterson, he had resided in Metuchen since 1965. A 1952 graduate of Fair Lawn High School, he earned a bachelor of arts degree, cum laude, in 1956 from Harvard College, Cambridge, Mass., and received a juris doctor degree in 1959 from Harvard Law School. He was admitted to practice in the state of New Jersey, the U.S. District Court for the District of New Jersey, and the U.S. Supreme Court. He belonged to the American Bar, New Jersey Bar, Middlesex County Bar, American Trial Lawyers and New Jersey Trial Lawyers associations. During his law career, Mr. Hollander served on the District VIII Ethics Committee of the Supreme Court of New Jersey, and as vice chairman of the District VIII Ethics Committee for Middlesex County. He also held many municipal positions, which included his appointment as the first municipal prosecutor of the borough of Metuchen, which he held for 10 years. In addition, he was a member of the Metuchen Planning Board and served as its attorney. Mr. Hollander was president of the Metuchen Democratic Club as well as a Democratic county committeeman for many years. Among his published articles was the hearsay rule in the New Jersey Law Journal, and he also contributed to nonlegal publications such as Proceedings of The New Jersey Historical Society and The New England Quarterly. Throughout his life, he collected folk music and was a portrait artist. Surviving are his wife of 48 years, Lois Samson Hollander; a son and daughter-in-law, Craig and Eileen Hollander of Burtonsville, Md.; and three grandchildren, Benjamin, Leah and Ezra. Funeral services were held at Flynn & Son/Koyen Funeral Home, Metuchen, followed by burial at Beth Israel Memorial Park, Woodbridge. Memorial donations may be made to the Francis E.
