Obituaries Janice Ann Lopez Mrs. Lopez, 72, of Old Bridge, died Sept. 10 in Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital, New Brunswick. Prior to his retirement in 1990, he was a picker-packer with Sunshine Biscuit, Sayreville, where he worked for 30 years. Surviving are three sons, Robert Lopez Jr., and Joseph, both of Old Bridge, and Steven of East Brunswick; four daughters, Karen Vader of Columbia, S.C., Nancy Stellingwerf of Edison, Diane Fritzinger of Bound Brook and Ann Marie Fela of Old Bridge; 10 grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren. Services were held at Michael Hegarty Funeral Home, Old Bridge. Cremation was private.
William F. Fallon Mr. Fallon, 51, of South Amboy, died Sept. 1 at home. He was employed for the past four years in the maintenance department at Our Lady of Victories Church, Sayreville. Prior to that, he worked for 26 years in the telecommunications department at Siemens Medical, Edison. He was predeceased by his parents, Mary and William Fallon. Surviving are his wife, Annette Cinnirella Fallon; a son, William Fallon Jr. of South Amboy; a daughter, Stacy Sobel, also of South Amboy; a sister, Mary Ann Scott of Pocono, Pa.; two brothers, Thomas Fallon of the Parlin section of Sayreville and Kenneth Fallon of Virginia Beach, Va.; his mother-in-law, Rose Marie Cinnirella of Sayreville; and a grandson. A Mass was offered at Our Lady of Victories Church. Interment was in New Calvary Cemetery, Parlin. Theresa Torok Mrs. Torok, 101, of North Brunswick, died Sept. 11 at McCarrick Care Center, Somerset. Born in Bonhamtown, she resided in Somerset most of her life. She was a seamstress at C & K Dress Company, New Brunswick, for more than 20 years, retiring in 1969. She was a communicant of St. Ladislaus Roman Catholic Church, New Brunswick. She was a member of the International Ladies Garment Workers Union. She was p[predeceased by her husband, John Torok in 1930. She is survived by two sons and daughters-in-law, John and Florence Torok of Milltown, and Joseph and Anne Torok of South River; two daughters and one son-in-law, Theresa and the Rev. Albert Kovacs of Woodbridge, and Rose Torok of North Brunswick; seven grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren. A funeral service will be Sept. 15 at 9 a.m. at The Crabiel Home for Funerals, Milltown. A funeral liturgy will follow at 10 a.m. at St. Ladislaus Church, followed by interment at St. Peter’s Cemetery, New Brunswick. Irma Valenti Russo Mrs.. Russo, 95, of North Brunswick, died Sept. 8 at home. Born in Parma, Italy, she resided in Edison prior to moving to North Brunswick 14 years ago. She was a floor lady at Bond Clothing Company, New Brunswick, for 40 years, retiring in 1973. She was a communicant of St. Matthew’s Roman Catholic Church, Edison. She enjoyed bowling. She was predeceased by her husband, Dominick Russo in 1979; four brothers; and two sisters. She is survived by a daughter and son-in-law, Catherine and Edward Hummel Sr. of North Brunswick; a sister, Mary Venterine of Leechburg, Pa.; a brother and sister-in-law, Joseph and Dolly Ruggeri of North Brunswick; a grandson; two great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. Interment was at Franklin Memorial Park, North Brunswick. Arrangements were by Selover Funeral Home, North Brunswick.
