Garden club’s annual tour set for June 4

The Woodbridge Garden Club will hold its annual area garden tour from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. June 4. The event enables the public to view Woodbridge gardens and also meet their owners. Tickets are $15 each and can be purchased from 9:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. June 4 at the Iselin Library’s Garden for the Blind and Physically Handicapped, 1081 Green St., Iselin section of Woodbridge. Advance tickets and maps are available by calling (732) 634-5000, ext. 125. All proceeds will benefit the garden club and its various beautification projects around town, including the maintenance of the garden at the Iselin library.

St. James now accepting applications for 2005-06

St. James School, Amboy Avenue, Woodbridge, is accepting applications for the 2005-06 school year for 3-year-old preschoolers through eighth-graders. For more information, call the school at (732) 634-2090.

St. James’ annual spring auction to be held May 6

St. James Church, 145 Grove St., Woodbridge, is hosting its annual spring auction May 6 at the church in McCorristin Hall. Doors open at 5:30 p.m., with the auction slated to begin at 7:30 p.m. Food and beverages will be sold. Tickets are $8. To purchase, call (732) 634-0500, ext. 696.
