Walk-a-thon to defray cancer patients’ expenses
     Catholic Daughters of the Americas Queenship of Mary Court No. 1743 will sponsor an indoor walk-a-thon from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. on April 16 at St. Bernadette’s Church, Lourdes Center Gym, Princeton and Villanova Roads, Parlin section of Old Bridge.

     The Woodbridge Senior Citizens Club holds meetings at 1 p.m. every Thursday in McCorristin Hall at St. James Church, 145 Grove St., Woodbridge. Middlesex East WOWs slates monthly meetings
     Middlesex East Widows or Widowers (WOWs) conducts a business meeting on the second Tuesday of each month starting at 7:30 p.m. at the Carteret Community Center, Cooke and Pershing avenues. Elks flea market held every Tuesday and Saturday
     Woodbridge Elks Lodge 2116 holds a flea market at the Elks Hall, 665 Rahway Ave., from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. every Tuesday and Saturday (weather permitting), featuring more than 60 vendors. The hall is located across from Trinity Church.
