Daniel E. DeCicco

Mr. DeCicco, 77, of the Colonia section of Woodbridge died Oct. 27 at his home. Born in Newark, he resided in Colonia for the past 48 years. Mr. DeCicco was employed as a manager with Tri County Heating, North Brunswick, for 20 years before retiring in 1991, and previously worked in the same capacity with Sid Harvey Heating, Union, for many years. He was a U.S. Navy veteran of World War II and belonged to the Evergreen Senior Citizens in Colonia. Mr. DeCicco was predeceased by a son, Pascal DeCicco in 2001. Surviving are his wife of 55 years, Lita Grieco DeCicco; a daughter, Maria Shields of Edison; two sisters, Frances Stampone of Belleville and Lu­cille Del Guercio of Monroe; a brother, Alan DeCicco of West Orange; and four grand­daughters. Funeral services were held at Costello-Koyen Funeral Home, Avenel, fol­lowed by a funeral Mass at St. John Vianney Church, Colonia. Entomb­ment was at St. James Chapel Mau­soleum, Woodbridge.
