The Ultimate Sports Training Center will hold the Ultimate Advance Baseball Clinic, a seven-week program, starting Jan. 19. The clinic will be held every Wednesday night from 7-9 p.m. for ages 9-12 and 13-17. The cost is $175. The clinic concentrates on offensive skills, defensive skills, pitching, conditioning and bat speed through customized workouts, and includes instruction from former professional and collegiate athletes.

There is a 60-player maximum; to preregister by phone, call (203) 787-2020 (ask for Paul), or register at: Ultimate Sports & Training Center, 222 Universal Drive, North Haven, Conn. Registration will be on a first-come, first-served basis. The deadline for registration is Jan. 15.
