Senior citizens club announces winter events

The Woodbridge Senior Citizens Club meets at 1 p.m. every Thursday in the McCarrister Hall at St. James Church. Membership is open to anyone 60 years or older who does not belong to any other senior citizens club. Blood pressure readings are taken the first meeting of every month. Canceled meetings are announced on WCTC, 1450 on the dial.

The topics for upcoming January meetings include:

• Jan. 6 — Peggy Catalano, a registered nurse, will discuss health issues for seniors.

• Jan. 11 — Atlantic City trip to Showboat. Nonmembers are welcome.

• Jan. 13 — social, bingo.

• Jan. 20 — Ruth McCormick, second vice president, will give a demonstration of defibrillator use.

• Jan. 27 — social, bingo.
