Middlesex East WOWs to host dance Jan. 14 Middlesex East Widows or Widowers (WOWs) is holding a dance for widows and widowers from 7:30-11:30 p.m. Jan. 14 at St. Demetrius Community Center, 681-691 Roosevelt Ave., Carteret. There will be live music, along with refreshments. Admission is $8 for members and $9 for guests. Alumni are welcome. Also, the group will conduct a business meeting starting at 7:30 p.m. on the second Tuesday of each month at the Carteret Community Center, located at Cooke and Pershing avenues.
