Flasher strikes again

WOODBRIDGE — Police said a man exposed himself to several juveniles at the corner of Mereline Avenue and Homer Court in Avenel at around 5 p.m. May 10.

According to police reports, the suspect, described as a white male in his mid-20s with short blond hair and blue eyes and wearing a blue T-shirt and blue jeans, pulled up in an older-model, blue, two-door vehicle, opened the driver-side door, shouted, "Look over here," and exposed his genitals.

The suspect then drove away, heading north on Mereline Avenue, then turning left onto Cobb Way.

Both the suspect’s description and that of his car are similar to the ones described in two previous incidents this year.

On Feb. 1, two women reported being flashed at the corner of Broad and East streets in Sewaren.

On Feb. 14, police reported that a man fitting the above description exposed his genitals and buttocks to several children playing in a park on Lyon Avenue.
