Twp patrons arrested after bar fight
WOODBRIDGE — Police were dispatched to a fight at the nightclub 88 Keys on Route 1 north in Iselin, which led to two arrests last week.
The incident occurred at 1:47 a.m. on Dec. 11, police said.
When police arrived, the security staff from 88 Keys were standing outside pointing at a gold 1999 four-door Chevy Suburban that was pulling out of the parking lot, the police report said.
Police observed the truck accelerate through the parking lot without any regard for public safety.
Police stopped the vehicle and checked all four of the occupants for warrants, the police report said.
Yicauri Morfa Del Rosario, 21, of Perth Amboy, who was the front passenger in the vehicle, was found to have an active warrant out of Perth Amboy, police said.
When police searched Del Rosario, they found a silver .25-caliber handgun that had one bullet in the chamber in her right jacket pocket, the police report said.
Trishawn Thomas, 23, of Perth Amboy, who was the driver of the vehicle, was placed under arrest for driving under the influence, the police report said.
The other two passengers in the back seat were released, police said.
Back at headquarters, a matron searched Del Rosario and located a second .25 caliber round inside her bra, the police report said.
Thomas, who had identified himself to police as Tyshon Thompson, was also charged with hindering prosecution, the police report said.
Del Rosario was charged with possession of a weapon, police said.
No victims of a fight were located anywhere in the vicinity, the police report said.
