Youth robbed of bike while doing a good deed WOODBRIDGE - A 12-year-old boy was robbed of his $270 black GT performer BMX-style bicycle while he was riding it on Kings Court last week. The incident occurred at 5:45 p.m. Nov. 1, police said. The boy told police he was riding his bike near his home when he heard what sounded like a girl's scream coming from Kings Court, which is a dead-end street, the police report said. The boy rode his bicycle to the street and was approached by two unknown males who came out from behind a Dumpster, police said. One of the males told the boy to give them the bike and said he could do it the easy way or the hard way, the police report said. The boy replied it would have to be the hard way because he wasn't giving them the bike, police said. The boy described suspect one as a 15- or 16-year-old white male, 5 feet 6 inches tall with a medium build with short blond hair, blue eyes, and a mustache, wearing a gray hooded sweatshirt, the police report said. The first suspect pushed the boy off his bike and onto the ground, police said. Then the first male picked up the bike as the second suspect held the boy down on the ground, while the first start to leave with the bike, the police report said. The boy described the second suspect a 15 or 16-year-old black male about 5 feet 4 inches tall with a medium build with short black hair and brown eyes. He wore a black hooded sweatshirt with the hood up, the police report said. The second suspect then let go of the boy and hopped on the rear pegs of the bike and the two suspects pedaled out to Rahway Avenue, the police report said.
